My mom had supraumbilical strangulated hernia for which she was operated at vellore cmc open laparotomy with mesh repair following which she developed post operative complication like adhesion or stricture we are in a confused state she lost so much weight she is not able to eat we consulted cmc they didn't responded properly and finally we found a dr.Pinak Dasgupta sir she got operated it was a stricture and resection and anastomosis done now she is doing good and now she is able to eat properly and gained weight also it was a complicated surgery and her recovery is good this time. I am a British citizen, and I travelled a long way to India specifically to seek treatment for my anal fistula. I would like to share my personal experience with Dr. Pinak Dasgupta in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in the hope that it may help others going through a similar situation.
