He manages patients with gallbladder stones, Appendix, and management of umbilical hernias, inguinal hernias, large abdominal wall hernias, and recurrent hernias. He also treats various stomach and intestinal-related problems. Guwahati Medical College in 2007. He achieved a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from GEM Hospital Coimbatore in 2012 followed by a fellowship program in Colorectal Surgery from The Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India. He has been granted a fellowship and Gold Medal in Interventional Endoscopy from the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons. He has also joined various training Laparoscopy in 2008, Ethicon Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in 2011, and Ethicon Endo Hernia in 2013. Dr. Pinak Dasgupta is an active member of the Association of Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India, Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, Association of Surgeons of India, Association of Innovative and Robotic Surgeon, Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons of India, Abdominal wall reconstruction Surgeons of India, Executive Committee member of Hernia Society of India and the founding member of the Association of Surgical Gastroenterologists of Assam.
